Re: Shuvuuia deserti has 3 fingers and long tail
Is this a different specimen to the one that Mary Schweitzer discussed
at the 1998 Dinofest Symposium, and the 1999 Ostrom Symposium?
If this one was found in 1998, it would be cutting it a bit fine to be
the same individual; was the Dinofest Symposium late in 1998 (the
specimen was found in July that year, apparently)?
If it's the same specimen, then I'm guessing there are at least three
individuals known. Four if it's a different one.
