I know there is not much known about the roadkill smear that is Saltopus
- and some consider that it may or may not be a dinosaur - but one thing
strikes me as peculiar - the pelvis, parts of which can be
characterized.

The ilia are long, much longer than in contemporary dinosaurs, and long
enough to encompass as many as five sacrals, although only a few are
actually visible. The ilia are also rather widely separated, as in
Herrarasaurus, and in contrast to Coelophysis.

Is the wide pelvis with that many sacrals a character of primitive
Ornithischia? Or is there another answer, perhaps closer to
Scleromochlus which shares the condition?
