Burian Black and White

       I just wanted to note a beautiful Burian illustration at eBay. It's a 
black and white cover for a Czech edition of Kipling's Jungle Book stories 
featuring a trumpeting elephant. Although the reproduction is fairly small, I 
think Burian is using scratchboard here. It's a fun medium that's kind of 
neglected. Margaret Colbert has done many fine scratchboards. DV
