"Murder in the Museum: A Case of Natural Selection?"

Since 1993, Sally and several colleagues have been tracking down and
analyzing how museums and museum people fare in popular culture (mysteries
and other fiction, movies, television, board games and kid-lit). The
results? Find out who's most likely to kill or be killed in museums,
correlated by job type; what a living museum person who wants to stay that
way must never wear; why paleontological exhibits in the movies are required
to fall down as part of the plot; and other amazing stereotypes that
ultimately influence the public perception of museums. Chosen as one of
Heisenberg Certainty Lectures at the Ig Nobel Awards Ceremony
