IMNSHO it is _ridiculous_ to call Platnick a cladist. Anyway, I've sent you
offlist (a month ago maybe) a long critique of Platnick's website... he
tries to make fun of things _he hasn't understood_! Have you read my e-mail?
Anyway, I'll soon make a webpage out of that mail. I've already made a
webpage out of my (very, very long) criticisms of Benton's critique of the
PhyloCode (who hasn't read the entire PhyloCode, too); I'll "publish" the
URL after I've improved the layout (maybe on Saturday, maybe even tomorrow).
:-) (Originally I wanted to wait that www.topnic.com works again so that I
can get a shorter URL.)

Maybe it's a US conspiracy, and Platnick is so patriotic that he is ashamed
of this. Or both. Platnick isn't explicit. :-)
