Archaeopteryx bavarica pubic boot.
This is a rehash of an unanswered thread posted in '97 by Pete Buccholz.
Pete Buchholz wrote:
"To anyone who has the paper describing the new species (_Archaeopteryx
bavarica_ that is..). Is the pubic boot more 'J' shaped (like in _A.
lithographica_, _Unenlagia_ and the 'flying raptor' [will someone give that
thing a name already...]), or hatchet shaped like in _Deinonychus_? Also,
it
assumed that the _A. bavarica_ type is an adult? Thanks in advance..."
The 'flying raptor', I presume, is Rahonavis. But could someone please
answer the question regarding the pubic boot.
