Objectivity cannot be achieved, true, but that's what science and research
bring us close to; some would say, it is the ultimate goal of science.  To
ignore that is to ignore the core and origin of science.  Why be a scientist
then?  Be a 19th century German rationalist.  Or a philosopher.
