   Dear all

Please feel free to log on and post your Megafauna questions to
paleontologists uncovering the remains of Megafauna in Australia's Simpson
   Desert.

Megafauna were large animals that lived in the late Miocene period around 8
million years ago - giant Kangaroos (Hadronomas puckridgei), giant birds
(Dromornis stirtoni) and giant crocodiles (Baru darrowi) etc. Dr Dirk
Megirian and Ian Archibald (Paleontologists from the Museum and Gallery of
the Northern Territory) are standing by to receive your questions.
