Subject: I think I did it wrong before.
I tried to send the following message to the dinosaur list earlier today,
but I may have sent it to an individual member. Is there a way to make sure
a reply goes to the list? This is what I tried to send:
Hi. I recently found out about this list because an acquaintance sent me a
snippet of a message from it. Someone had said that the Jurassic Park dinos
would be good for a dinosaur comic strip. I actually happen to draw a
dinosaur comic strip, which runs on the The Dinosaur Interglactic Gazette,
at www.dinosaur.org. The page for my strip, ³Larry the Dinosaur² is at
www.dinosaur.org/LarryIntro.htm.
If you will allow an interested non-scientist to read your messages and
occasionally ask a question, I promise not to be any trouble. My father was
a physical anthropologist, but he also did a little paleontology, which led
to my interest in the subject.
In my strip, I have purposely mixed up dinos from all of the dino periods,
without worrying about which ones lived when. Other than that I have kept
within the times. There are no modern references and they don¹t order out
for pizza as another strip I saw once had them doing. The star, Larry, is
from a species that no paleontolgist has found yet. I think you might like
what I do.
If you don¹t want me here, just let me know.
