There's a slight problem with the Spinosaurus spines in that article:
Berislav forgot to give them their widened bases in his skeletal
reconstruction. The neural spines widen above the centra a bit as you go
toward the tip, then constrict, then widen again more slowly before finally
narrowing as they come to the tip. I suspect that the point of constriction
is the "Plimsoll line" of the animal's back.
