Re: The Hunchback of the Mid-Cretaceous



Perhaps a silly question, but since I am not well versed on spinosaurs, I
will ask it anyways. With no direct evidence saying that _Spinosaurus_ had a
sail, is it possible that instead its spines didn't support a sail or hump,
but each stood alone as a display structre, possibly covered in horn? This
question just occured to me today at work, so I figured I'd ask it while it
was on my mind.
