Recollections on Various Items

Hey,
I've just returned from a three day sojourn to New York. I did get to see some
nice geology and fossil exhibits at Cornell University, but that's beyond the
point.

Anyway, I would like to second Mary's post on HP Holtz and Brett-Surman's
excellent book. I found my copy waiting for me upon my return, and must say
that it is one of the better books aimed for the younger audience. Really,
with HP Thom Holmes' new series and this JP book, it seems as if some really
great dinosaur books for young kids are starting to hit the market. That's
great news, as this new breed of books are written by experienced scientists
and writers who take time to check up on the accuracy of various theories and
hypotheses. The younger generation will have quite an advantage over all of us
with all of these great books coming out!

Congratulations on the fine book(s) Dr. Holtz!

Steve
