Something doesn't sound quite right taxonomically here. I though, first
of all, that *I. bernissartensis* is now the type species of *Iguanodon*,
with *I. anglicus* reduced to a nomen dubium. Also, did Norman refer *I.
mantelli* to both *I. anglicus* and *I. atherfieldensis*, or Belgian *I.
mantelli* to one and the original English *I. mantelli* to the other? In
addition, does the differentiation *I. anglicus*\*I. atherfieldensis*
matter anyway, since *I. anglicus* seems no longer to be valid (and thus
should not have additional material referred to it)? Am I just barking
up the wrong tree?
(Passing Trivial Question: While on the subject of ornithopods, I'd like
to know if someone here has seen the *Drinker* material. Bakker has
claimed the adults only got to 300 mm in length; is this real?)
Taxonomically Confused,
*Thescelosaurus*
