Caudipteryx tertials?

In a 1999 paper on the sequence of character acquisition in the evolution of
avian flight (Garner et al, 1999, Proc. R. Soc. Lond., v 266), the authors
seem to accept that Archaeopteryx and Caudipteryx lacked tertial feathers
and therefore had a gap in the wing between the most proximal secondaries
and the torso. Does anyone know of anything published since this paper
describing tertials for Caudipteryx?
