Interesting New Book
Hey,
Just wanted to let you all know about an interesting new book that was recently
published.
Evolution of Herbivory in Terrestrial Vertebrates: Perspectives from the Fossil
Record (Cambridge University Press), edited by Hans-Dieter Sues, is the
proceedings from a symposium on the evolution of herbivory held during the
Sixth North American Paleontological Convention in 1996. This book includes
chapters on the evolution of herbivory in land vertebrates, an analysis of
prosauropod teeth and diet, a look at sauropod feeding habits, a chapter by
David Weishampel on ceratopsians, stegosaurids, and ornithopods, and three
chapters on mammals and the evolution of grazing.
It's a very interesting book, to say the least.
