Nick and Mickey,
      I'm probably partially repeating myself from a previous posting a 
while back, but statements like those below are why I would be much more 
comfortable if _Alvarezsaurus_ and mononykines were treated as separate OTUs 
in cladistic analyses.
    Any likelihood that Alvarezsaurus is sister group to an 
ornithomimid-mononykine clade?
