CHINESE ANUROGNATHIDS
Hello all. Just a quick note to announce...
Unwin, D.M., Lu, J. and Bakhurina, N.N. 2000. On the systematic and
stratigraphic significance of pterosaurs from the Lower Cretaceous
Yixian Formation (Jehol Group) of Liaoning, China. _Mitt. Mus.
Nat.kd. Berl., Geowiss. Reihe_ 3: 181-206.
This is the paper that shows that _Dendrorhynchoides_ should be
assigned to the Anurognathidae and that _Eosipterus_ is probably a
ctenochasmatine ctenochasmatid. Includes a review of all Lower
Cretaceous pterosaur records. Discussion of the idea that the long tail
of _Dendrorhynchoides_ is a fake.
