Erwin Christman at the AMNH

  Several new galleries have been added at the AMNH's Fossil Collection 
Website. One of them is a wonderful series of Erwin Christman's fabulous 
renderings. Of special interest is the initial photo of Christman sculpting 
the spectacular life-sized titanothere head. The images are a reminder that 
his career was altogether too brief.
  There is also a gallery devoted to recent expedition photographs from 
Mongolia (brooding Oviraptor) that look like paradise compared to the crappy, 
rainy January landscape here in New Jersey.
