Actually, a Tyrannosaurus maxilla has been foun in the Tornillo Group of
Texas (Lawson 1976). Also, a partial skeleton of Tyrannosaurus is known
from the McRae Formation of New Mexico (Carr and Williamson 2000). A
dentary, tooth fragments and a pedal phalanx are known from the Kirtland
Formation of New Mexico as well. Thus, Tyrannosaurus probably met
titanosaurs on a regular basis.
