      It's interesting to note that the AMNH Apatosaurus was originally mounted with the downturned cervicals and they have been subsequently realigned upward in the recent renovation. See Dingus' _Next of Kin_. DV

 

Yea, and when you look at the new mounted neck, you see major gaps between the vertebrae or overhanging post-, pre-, zygapohysis! Heres something you all can do next time your at a museum, see how many vertebrate are misplaced in the mount or even the ribs. Thereâs lots of things you can see on mounted specimensâpathologiesâ
