Charles R. Knight
Shalom, good morning. For those, like me, who have treasured their copy of Life Through The Ages for nearly 48 years, the programme is, indeed, a conjuration. For the record, the NPR broadcast was a segment of "Talk of the Nation", Friday 21 December 2001. The Indiana University Press reprint of the original 1946 book, with the opening commentaries by Stephen Jay Gould and Phil Currie, is a landmark in 2001 dinosaurology literary paths.
I would nominate this as Paleodiscovery of the year, along with Brian J. Alters and Sandra M. Alters, Defending evolution in the classroom (with a foreword by Stephen Jay Gould) published Jones & Bartlett.
Mahzel tov from paleocyberia.
