dinosaur petroglyph?
Does anyone have information on a petroglyph found in about 1925 at Hava Supai Canyon, Arizona? I have not been able to find an illustration, but according to a letter in the Smithsonian dated Sept 1925, the rock art scene depicts humans, ibex, and a small mammoth (with no tusks), as well as a curious animal interpreted by some as a live dinosaur and by others as a representation of an incomplete dinosaur skeleton (the forelegs are missing and the abdomen is hollow).
Is this petroglyph one of the well-known, highly dubious "dinosaur images" in rock art? Or is it possible that itreflects a genuine attempt to portray a dinosaur skeleton?
Any info much appreciated!
