Paleo Find of the Year 2001

Hello,
If you remember from years past, at the end of the last few calendar years I 
have sponsored a "Paleo Find of the Year" panel.  After last year's contest Ken 
Kinman, I believe, suggested that I solicit nominations for the find of the 
year and, upon receiving a list of nominations, post the nominations to this 
list and have whoever is interested vote.

Therefore, I would like to send out a call for nominations.  Anyone on the list 
is free to nominate a paleontological discovery, whether it be dinosaur or what 
have you, a certain paper or study, or an event as the "Find of the Year."  I 
have already received a few, but anyone wishing to send me their nominations 
can do so either on list or off list.  Please try to get them to me by, oh, 
let's say Wednesday.  When I have collected all nominations I will post them to 
the list and have those interested people vote on them.
