Not much to add on top of HP Holtz's statement, other than: how is it
perfectly logical? I fail to see a reason for such.
And two: How have the physiological demands of nurturing hatchlings (et.c)
changed since the K/T impact? If you're arguing that extant animals aren't
good comparisions, then there needs to be evidence for such. Is there
evidence of a sudden gender role reversal after the impact? This would
require not just most extant tetrapods to have undergone (during an early
stage of their evolution) this change, but also many types of fish as well.
This is inherently not logical; however, if there is evidence to the
contrary, then it doesn't need to be logical (as sometimes happens in
nature);).
