nodosaur/ankylosaur armor
Ok, correct me now,
Nodosaurids seem to share a common set of armor: plates over neck, a row of
spikes from shoulder to pelvis, scutes over the back, and root of tail
Ankylosaurids seem to have the same pattern in 'primitive' species, but
grows into the "layer" system, where the skutes lays in vertical rows. And
they of course have the club tail.
Minmi had belly armor. Any further species with this little speciality?
and Glyptodontopelta, Stegopelta and this unnamed form (usa) had a
'glyptodontid' armor. Any news from the unnamed species? I think it was that
one i saw a photo of, and it looked quite interesting, and unusual to me.
just trying to keep track
