Tracy,
There are termites mounds all over southern Asia, so I assume they are found in various parts of Mongolia today.
And back in the Cretaceous (before India smashed into Asia), the climate may have been even better for Mongolian termites. As for finding fossilized Cretaceous termite mounds, I haven't a clue how well they might fossilize.
