Will be travelling South to Long Island Dec 21.
Amherst college is along the route. Been to the website, said trackways
available for study by "group appointment". Question,...are there any
on display without appointment? Is there anything to be seen in natural setting
in this region (assuming the "miracle of no snow" continues...)? Do
you think it worth an overnite stay (ie,..is it a large museum?) I`d
really like to "take a gander" at those large bird tracks...;^).
