Re: Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle

From: "Nicholas Gardner" <n_gardner637@hotmail.com>

1. I'm looking for an example on how this deals with biological systems.
Does anyone have one?

I had a physics teacher once tell me that the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle was a little like shining a flashlight on a group of feeding hyenas in the middle of the night and concluding that hyenas run when it's dark outside. You can't know what they're doing without shining light on them, and you can't shine light on them without changing what they're doing. (A little like the electrons the Principle was orignally applied to).
