New Images was... Re: "Dino-Bird" Higher resolution images

We've added the two images of the bottom limbs of the beastie.

You can find all four images by following the links from this convenient URL.

If these images are helpful to anyone for remporary research purposes and there is another detail that enough of you think is important, please let us know OFFLIST and we will consider adding additional images if we have the appropriate material available.

As part of our article on the newly announced find, we are in the
process of publishing several higher resolution images of the fossil.

These are LARGE files... about 150KB each, so those of you with slow
modems will need to be very patient.

They are a compromise between the actual full size images and the sort
of low-resolution ones that you will find with most news articles, but
we think you'll find much more detail than you imagined you would ever
see short of the actual specimen.  You will need to scroll horizontally
to see the whole image. Also, they are interlaced, so at first they will
look blurry, but eventually they will be clear. Please don't write
complaining that they look blurry until you've waited for them to be
complete, okay?

The first two are available through:

Several more will be available in the next few days.

We are doing this to help clarify some of the discussion which (since
most of you haven't or can't see the specimen) is a little vague because
of lack of information.
