Maceration...

Hi all,

Apologies for stepping off-topic, but I was hoping I could get some advice.

I'm currently running a pair of small maceration tanks in my garden to deal 
with 
various dead critters. However, I'm finding that - while producing good results 
- this is taking a *long* time (anywhere from 1-3 months).
AFAIK, the best method of accelerating the process is to either place the tanks 
in a warmer environment (not possible - the house smells bad enough as it is 
:-)), or to add some kind of catalyst.

If anyone could mail me off-list to recommend a good catalyst, or even a better 
method of preparing skeletons (but please, no dermestids :-)) I'd be most 
grateful.
