During the "Making of Walking With Dinosaurs", there was a scene where the
sauropod animators were watching elephants moving about with their trainer. As
soon as they stopped walking (the elephants that is), the trainer pointed out
how their posture shifted as they locked their knees and elbows into place to
brace themselves while standing still.
