Pterosaurs in National Geographic
Recently discussed, John Sibbick's work appears in the latest
issue of _National Geographic_:
Monastersky, R. 2001. [The Rise of Life on Earth:] Pterosaurs:
Lords of the Ancient Skies. _National Geographic Magazine_ 199
(5): 86-105.
Basically, most of the work is latest ideas regarding origins
and mechanics, plus Sibbick's work is (believe it or not) all
new since the Wellnhofer book but for the
*Pteranodon*/*Nyctosaurus* painting. Major focus is put on
mechanics, biology, ecology, systematics, *Quetzalcoatlus,*
*Pteranodon*, and the major wierdos. Somewhat of a general
information piece, as usual for paleo bits in Nat. Geo.
