Jim Farlow forwarded a question about summer camps to expose people to
field work in paleontology.  For anyone receiving questions about such
things I think a good idea is to route the questioner to:

which is where Syracuse University is trying to keep links to geology
summer field camps all across the country.  I'm about to add a link to
it from the administrative web page, so that if you don't bookmark the
above site you can at least direct them to ours...
