I know that this isn't dino-related, but I was
hoping for a quick reply from those herpetology experts onlist.
My question is about the number of scutes on
turtles. Do all turtles have thirteen scutes? When did this
condition arise? Do fossil turtles show evolution towards the thirteen
scuted condition?
