It sure is.  He went through several iterations on the Quetz stuff, making
major changes to reflect the markups.  I've always liked John's work, and
enjoyed the opportunity to interact with him on these illustrations.  He's a
pleasure to work with. Note that there are some perspective distortions
required to fit the illustrations on the pages and still make some of the
detail visible.
