"Troody"
"Troody" the MIT full scale robot is based on a generalized troodont. It is
one of the very few robots that can walk entirely bipedally without
additional supports, and therefore represents one of the most advanced
cybermachines in existence. Currently its walking speed is slow. It can
negotiate low objects. It also resists being tipped over, and can maintain
balance on a tilting platform. It and/or its successors are expected to
increase walking speed and eventually achieve a full run. Current appearance
is robotic, future versions will be ensconsed in feathers. Ultimate aim is to
