Item 1: Later this month, you may be able to have a face to face
encounter with dinosaurs from Jurassic Park and The Lost
World: Jurassic Park. On Tuesday, October 10, Natural
History Museum of Los Angeles County, will unveil the
donation of an original full-size Velociraptor from the film as
a part of their exhibits. The event is timed to coincide with
the release of the JP Special edition DVDs. 

Item 2: Newcomer Katie Carr has been hired to take the lead female
role in the upcoming ABC TV miniseries Dinotopia,
according to Variety columnist Michael Fleming. Based on
previous information about the project, Carr is likely to play
the part of the beautiful, headstrong daughter of the mayor of
Waterfall City, the capital city and island where dinosaurs
and men co-exist.
