Lazarus species reference

Hello all;

The title and author of the paper I've been going on about over my last few 
posts is;

The gradual extinction of dinosaurs: fact or artifact? G.D. Leahy
(in: Fourth Symposium on Mesozoic Terrestrial Ecosystems, Short Papers. P.J. 
Currie and E.H. Koster eds.)

Leahy uses the existence of Lazarus species as one part of his argument that 
end-Cretaceous dinosaur extinctions were sudden rather than gradual. The 
existence of Lazarus species earlier in the late Cretaceous suggests that 
other Lazarus species (whose 'return to life" in the latest Cretaceous is 
note recorded, or not yet found) would increase the diversity of animals at 
the end. I guess it's another approach to "absence of evidence is not 
(necessarily) evidence of absence." Has anyone else updated this look at 
terminal Cretaceous Lazarus species?
