Which are these triassic forms and how reliable are the assignments to
certain taxa? AFAIK some fossils of Chatterjee were redescribed and moved to
other taxa.
About 230ma ago - at the time of the dinosaur Big Bang - an intense mosaic
evolution took place. This resulted in the creation of many new groups of
dinosaurs in a short period of time. Due to the vagaries of fossilization
some of these seem to appear only very much later in the fossil record. So
confirmation of what Jaime A. Headden wrote would show again how fast
dinosaurs were able to diversify.
I hope somebody can help
Cheers
