Are you sure dinosaurs are diagnosed by the absence of the fifth
metacarpal? Sauropodomorphs and most ornithischians have five-fingered
hands (and *Eoraptor* has a splint of an MC V).  Do you mean a different
clade, like Theropoda?-*Thescelosaurus*
