<Nothing said against the art, but again, why did you call it "the
_Dinosaur Blunder Book_"? Since I think that a) my dictionary hasn't
erred in giving "blunder" some related pejorative meanings and b) that
"blunder" is related to German "Plunder", which more or less means
"junk"... I just want to know it.>
A lot of the details per species (of the lesser known ones anyway)
are down-right erroneous, including measurements, etymologies (not that
I really care, I'm pretty good with languages ... just not syntax)
reference, and much of the finer details in the descriptions and
comments. Some of the genera listed were orignally applied in that
book, giving Lessem and Glut the credit for these nomina nuda, even
though publication of the forms will stabilize use (and a lot of the
Japanese names can still be changed, thank God -- without insult to the
coiners, but the endless oriental place-name+saurus are.... I'll quit
there). Like I said, the book's a showcase of some art, Tracy's being
the more prominent, then Brian's and GSP's. It's cool, I have a lot of
the original material and Glut's newer write-ups that improve the book
to the degree you can forget about it and want to get the other Ford
and Olshevsky material for the restorations. :)

Dinosaurs are horrible, terrible creatures! Even the
fluffy ones, the snuggle-up-at-night-with ones. You think
they're fun and sweet, but watch out for that stray tail
spike! Down, gaston, down, boy! No, not on top of Momma!
