Re: Dromaeosauridae names, please!



Oh, my mistake - I was confusing _Utahraptor_ and _Megaraptor_. Has 
_Megaraptor_ been officially assigned as the species name? Also, what was wrong 
with the name "Spielberg's raptor"? Given the size of the velociraptors in JP...

If only Utahraptor wrist bones were known.  Unfortunately, the only elements
preserved are a premaxilla, lacrimal, mid and distal caudal vertebrae,
manual ungual I, manual ungual II, tibia and pedal ungual II.  It's
certainly dromaeosaurid based on the elongated caudal prezygopophyses and
other characters.
