Simple: convert the Euro's to guilders, then convert those to dollars.
That who I would do it  anyway. ;-)

Even simpler: http://www.oanda.com/. The Quick Convert function in the top
left of this page gives me the following:

        FXConverter(tm) - 164 Currency Converter Results 
        Tuesday, October 10, 2000 
        1 Euro = 0.8686 US Dollar 
        1 US Dollar (USD) = 1.1513 Euro (EUR) 

Sorry for the off-topic message, but I think with the GAIA volume this
information might be of interest to more than one person on this list.
