Strange that the skull would be too small when the authors state the dentary
is 65% of femoral length, which they point out is larger than other
segnosaurs.
As for the manus, segnosaur and dromaeosaurid mani ARE very similar to each
other.  However, Beipiaosaurus is like Alxasaurus and Therizinosaurus, but
unlike Deinonychus, Velociraptor and Bambiraptor in that metacarpal I is
proximally narrower than metacarpal II.  Also, the flexor tubercles are
lower than Deinonychus or Velociraptor, like Alxasaurus and Therizinosaurus.
Dromaeosaurids can be distinguished by their deep flexor tubercles that are
proximodistally narrow.
