*Deinocheirus* is identified by the holotype, which
includes a nearly complete pair of forelimbs, mostly
overlapping but lackinf (each) some antebrachial and
manus elements, but enough to reconstruct a complete
forelimb, along with the scapular coracoids, some
fragments of the dorsal ribs, two indeterminate
cervical vertebrae, and the ceratohyals of the hyoid
apparatus. However, the material aside from the
forelimbs is too incompletely preserved to be of
diagnostic value. The ZPal MgD-I collection does not
apparently include more ornithomimosaur material not
referred to *Gallimimus* that can be referred again to
*Deinocheirus;* I haven't seen some of the larger less
complete specimens to determine their relative value,
so I may be.

they're fun and sweet, but watch out for that stray tail
spike! Down, gaston, down, boy! No, not on top of Momma!
