Bad Storytelling

May have been, but since the dinos weren't wearing
clothes or listening to Jazz or going to jobs, either,
I have to chalk that comment up to poor grounding in
basic storytelling skills.

Not there's no shortage of _that_ in the animation
film industry. But it is surprising to hear something
like that come from someone who works for Disney.

The lips...not a problem. The're there for a
_reason_. The grass... isn't justified at all. More
green in a scene can be accomplished by any number of
contemporary flora. While I don't think the film can
really hold a candle to something (say) like Watership
Down, it's instructive for animating storytellers to
notice that there were no details in WD that _weren't_
there for a reason.

But then, this is pretty off-topic. Mea culpa.
