The full programme of the Symposium
and my abstract on "Late Jurassic
dinosaurs" are available at my homepage http://homepage.av.com/lourinhanosaurus/home.html
Some of the talks were
Fabio Marco Dalla Vecchia "Dinosaurs of NE Italy,
Slovenia and Croatia"
The interesting part is "A complete
articulated skeleton and other remains (...) belonging to several individuals of
small, primitive hadrosaurs"
Hartmut
Haubold The status of
Emausaurus, Ornithischia: Thyreophora
His presentation was a small
version of the paper describing Emausaurus as a basal
Thyreophora.

details see Haublod (1990). Revue Paléobiol. 9, 1: 149-177.

There are a group of abstracts. I do
not know if they are available but contact Sven Sachs dinosven@hotmail.com to request
it.
We also have discussed
the importance of a database for dinosaurs (cast or originals) in Europe, where
would be listed, species by species, the Museum in Europe where we can find each
dinosaur. That would be a important tool for palaeontologists who must do
anatomical comparisons and need travel to compare dinosaurs. We are still
planing the way to do it, but we will need the help of all those who have that
data.
The database
shall include:
Genus and species of the dinosaur
,
If is present the complete animal,
only skull or only postcranial,
If it is
original or cast,
If it is a holotype
Museum where it is
Address and Email of the museum and
curator (if possible)
Link to the museum page (if possible)
From now
on do not forget to make a list of the dinosaurs if you visit a European museum.
That can be useful!
Therefore,
if anyone has lists of dinosaurs (originals and casts) in European museums, we
would be grateful if share it with us to include in that database that will be
available to everyone in the web. Lists can be sent to me. Thanks in
advance.
