Apparently vultures will eat lion faeces, as cats seem unable to digest
meat very efficiently leaving (as I recall) around 30% protein
undigested. How efficient were dinosaurs/ are their nearest extant
relatives? Should we be looking at smaller dinos for evidence of this?
What form would that evidence take? I'm starting from the position that
they had much longer to specialize than, say mammals.......
