Re: Sauropods as seen by Dale Russell in "Dinosaur Attack"
In regards to the footprint "chase scene," I recommend reading Martin Lockley's
new book "The Eternal Trail." In his book, which will soon be reviewed on my
website, Lockley argues against many of these scenarios, such as the chase
scene. Well, actually, he doesn't argue against them, but like any careful
scientist, spells out why we cannot be exactly sure what happened during this
"chase."
The entire book is like that, and actually I enjoyed it very much. In addition
to all of the technical track site stuff there is also some interesting odd
ball items, such as a few pages devoted to a score of music composed and set to
the rhythm of, I believe, the aforementioned chase site. Very cool. And.....I
think, Farlow may have been involved with this music composition. Maybe the
late Dave Thomas, too. I can't recall off of the top of my head.
