Messelirrisor isn't a piciform, but a upupiform

It was described in 1998 by Gerald Mayr in Upupiformes, Messelirrisoridae n.
fam., formaly known as Laurillardiidae Harrison, 1979.

There are species:
Messelirrisor parvus Mayr, 1998.,
Messelirrisor halcyrostris Mayr, 1998.(SMF-ME 600),
A gen. et sp. indet. Mayr, 1998.

Laurillardia longirostris Minle-Edwards 1867-71 is refered to the family.
Laurillardia munieri Flot, 1891. and Laurilardia parisiensis Flot, 1891. are
Aves Incertae Sedis
